Cone Beam CT (CBCT) Panoramic X-Ray
The 3D images we get from our CBCT show bones, nerves, and soft tissues in high detail and are used to diagnose dental conditions, detect infections, TMJ, 3rd molars, and fractures. These x-rays are safe and provide clear cross-sectional images of hard and soft tissues which allow our dentists to get a much better picture of your mouth than traditional x-rays.
WaterLase Laser Dentistry
The WaterLase MDX is a minimally invasive dental laser system that uses water and laser energy to perform various dental procedures like cavity preparation, gum and bone contouring, removal of bacteria in root canales, and soft tissue removal, often without the need for a drill or anesthetic injection, allowing for a more comfortable experience.
WaterLase Epic
This is the only hygiene laser that is FDA cleared for laser bacterial reduction. Our hygienist uses this tool to deep clean and reduce bacteria and inflammation often with less discomfort compared to traditional methods. The WaterLase Epic can also be used for procedures like pocket therapy, sulcular debridement, and managing minor soft tissue lesions.
VELscope
The VELscope is a handheld device that uses blue light to help our dentists identify oral cancer and pre-cancerous tissue changes in the earliest stages. It’s a painless, noninvasive procedure that can be used in addition to a regular oral exam. This is especially important for people who smoke or have a family history of cancer.
